Natural Sports Turf
From turf cricket pitch to football ground grass
Village Green Kikuyu is being used on hundreds of green natural sports fields and parks across Australia and Southern Europe. It was specifically developed and certified to solve a problem that councils had with the common Kikuyu. This problem related to lack of density, recovery ability and colour in common Kikuyu particularly through the winter sporting season.
Outdoor sports ovals are a demanding environment for any turf grass. They are subject to continual high use throughout the year with pressure being applied to the surface during winter when cold conditions slow the growth of most warm season turf varieties.
Village Green is a highly winter active Kikuyu with a deep green color giving a high wearing playing surface throughout the winter without the need for over seeding.
